Bob graduated from California State University Northridge, Cum Laude in 1975 with a BA in Psychology. He obtained his JD from Whittier College School of Law in 1978 graduating in the top 20% of his class. Bob was also a member of the Whittier Law Review. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1978 and joined Hall, Lindeman, Small, Burns & Palumbo in 1979. He became a named partner in the successor firm, Burns, Palumbo, Milam & Baronian in 1985. During his tenure at the firm, he became a skilled negotiator and successful trial lawyer handling serious personal injury cases with an emphasis in asbestos/toxic tort litigation. In 1999, Bob formed the Baronian Law Firm where he specialized in asbestos and toxic tort litigation. Bob became “of counsel” to PGBR LLP, in 2007.
In addition to the California State Bar, Bob is also a member of the Armenian Bar Association, is AV rated with Martindale Hubbell (the highest rating), and is a Charter Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), an invitation only trial lawyer honorary society with membership limited to 3,500 Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.
Bob was also a finalist in the 2008 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America.
Finally, Bob is a Southern California Superlawer, and has been since 2007.
