Michael Tafarella is an associate in the Long Beach office. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He then received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Western State College of Law in 2018 and was admitted to the California State Bar the same year.

After graduation Michael began his career in civil litigation and has represented clients in a wide range of matters including high-exposure cases involving catastrophic injury, medical malpractice,  professional malpractice, transportation incidents, wrongful death, product liability, breach of contract, construction defects, and discrimination claims.

Michael joined PGBR LLP in 2025 with several years of experience in a wide variety of complex litigation matters. His current practice includes the defense of premises liability, products liability, and construction defect litigation. Michael is admitted to practice before all Courts of the State of California.
