Bryan Quick graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Philosophy in 2001. After graduation, he attended the University of San Diego School of Law from which he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2004. While in law school, he was a member of the International Law Review and served as an extern to the Honorable Napoleon A. Jones, Jr. Untied States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Southern California. Mr. Quick was admitted to the California State Bar in November of 2004.
Prior to joining PGBR LLP in September 2014, Mr. Quick worked with Goggins & Associates, Inc.
Mr. Quick has been actively involved in the defense of workers compensation cases in California since 2005. He has experience representing a wide variety of self-insured clients, corporations and insurance companies throughout the state of California before the WCAB. Mr. Quick's experience with workers compensation litigation includes trial work before the WCAB including large exposure cases. He has handled litigation involving death and life pension exposure, penalties, discrimination claims pursuant to Labor Code section 132(a), serious and willful misconduct claims, rehabilitation unit hearings, appeals from determinations of the rehabilitation unit and petitions for reconsideration. One favorable defense panel decision obtained by Mr. Quick established a basis for defendants to take credit for repayment of EDD benefits against the 104 week Temporary Total Disability cap for post 01/01/2008 dates of injury. (Moreno v. American Sunroof Corp., 2011 Cal. Wrk. Comp. P.D. LEXIS 175).
